Wells Fargo which has been established in 1929 in San Francisco, California as its headquarters, United states. Wells Fargo Bank operates in three segments in their banking. They are as follows

1. Community banking: Is the once which looks after Various products and services such as agency assets, personal trust and mutual funds which are offered by the company. And also it takes part in in its loan products like lines of credit, equity lines and loans, equipment and transportation loans, education loans, servicing of mortgage loans, origination and purchase of residential mortgage loans, and credit cards. And also credit products, such as receivables and inventory financing, health savings accounts, real estate financing, cash management, payroll services, real estate financing, equipment leases, and credit and debit card processing.

2. Wholesale banking : This is the one which provides the following services to the coustomer like traditional commercial loans and lines of credit, asset-based lending, letters of credit, equipment leasing, online/electronic products, foreign exchange services, treasury management, investment management, international trade facilities, institutional fixed income and equity sales, commodity and equity risk management, mezzanine financing. And Construction loans, permanent loans for securitization, secured and unsecured lines of credit, interim financing arrangements, rehabilitation loans, land acquisition and development loans,housing loans and letters of credit and commercial real estate loans.

3. Wells Fargo Banking: Company has started proviing its services from December 31, of 2005. It looks after constomer and real estate loans to individuals. From retail merchants and automobile dealers, Wells Fargo Bank purchases sales finance contracts. By automobiles it makes its loans secured. credit cards, lease and other commercial financing are provided by them.
